About Thames Landing

Good food & ocean breezes

Thames Landing, which opened in early July, 2024, is helmed by Renae and Mark Roy and their family. The Roy family also own Navis Café next door on Thames Street. Thames Landing aims to bring Portland and its visitors solidly good food, in an airy and modern atmosphere, served with warm hospitality. Our menu is filled with contemporary takes on classic coastal New England fare—fresh and seasonal, and always handmade for you. Our dining room and spacious patio are family-friendly and offer plenty of room for groups of all sizes. Join us for a leisurely lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, or just snacks and drinks any time. We can’t wait to welcome you in!

Location

Thames Landing is steps from Casco Bay, just across the street from the Portland Ocean Gateway Terminal and the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad, in an area of Portland’s waterfront that was once home to historic wharves and has seen new commercial development in recent years. We encourage you to walk the Eastern Promenade Trail along the waterfront before or after your meal, and enjoy views of the islands in Casco Bay and the marine traffic coming and going from Portland Harbor.
